Pavel Hrtus

Pavel focuses on commercial contracts and disputes, debt recovery, and real estate. He offers clients a practical approach, meticulous attention to detail, and clear guidance from first instruction through to closing.

He studied law at the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University in Brno. He began his career at a small Prague firm with a general practice, working across legal fields – from tenancy disputes to commercial transactions. After passing the bar examination in 2007, he spent several years at a prominent Czech law firm, where he encountered large-scale business in all its complexity: intricate structures, tough negotiations, and contracts whose annexes run longer than the average novel.

His clients are predominantly small and medium-sized businesses in construction, trade, and services – people who have enough to deal with running their own operations and do not need their lawyer adding to that load. Pavel therefore works as a partner rather than merely a service provider. He has no patience for administration and red tape – a sentiment that tends to build rapport with clients faster than anything else. His greatest satisfaction comes from closing a file knowing the matter ended well. Everything else – the stacks of submissions and the endless hearings – he regards as a necessary part of a profession that delivers the result the client needs.
